Dove Shore began his career in photography in Los Angeles in the 90′s, working for David LaChapelle, Zach Gold and others. Paying careful attention to every artistic detail helped him to define his own style.
Shore’s work can regularly be seen in magazines worldwide, including Rolling Stone, Elle, Spin, Flaunt, and Entertainment Weekly, among others. Dove recently completed his first book for Rodale, entitled Eco-Beautiful. He lives in Los Angeles. He is also one of the head photographers for the Coachella Music Festival.
For the past three years, Dove has traveled the country shooting portraits of musicians touched by Hurricane Katrina. These photos, along with song lyrics, writings and Hurricane Katrina disaster photos, will be collected in Katrina Music Project, a coffee table book slated for release next August, the 6th anniversary of the disaster. 100% of the proceeds from the sales of the book will go towards the New Orleans Musicians Hurricane Relief Fund, Sweet Home New Orleans and MusicCares.
